About
B. Chance Mullins, M.D., FACOG, was born in Huntsville, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alabama, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2000. He then went on to graduate in 2004 from the University of South Alabama, where he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Mullins completed his residency training at the University of Alabama Birmingham, graduating in 2008.
Dr. Mullins is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Medical Association of Alabama. While at the University of Alabama, he received the Septima Cecilia Smith Honors Award for Academic Excellence and the Scholastic Honors Award as a medical student. He also received an annual teaching award for his works as a resident and served as the chairman of his residency ethics committee during his final year.
