About
Robert M. Hagler, M.D., FACOG, was born in Troy, Alabama, and graduated from Louisville High School. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University. In 1980, he received his medical degree from the University of Alabama and graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Hagler completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama and began his OB/GYN practice in July of 1984. He discontinued the practice of obstetrics in June of 1995 to devote his full attention to the practice of gynecology.
Dr. Hagler is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the AMA, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama (MASA), the Houston County Medical Society (HCMS), the Charles Flowers Society and the Continental Gynecologic Society. With ACOG, he has served as chairman of the Alabama Section, chairman of the National GYN Practice Committee, has served on numerous national committees, and as a junior fellow, was chairman of both the Alabama Section and District VII. He previously served as vice chairman of the board of directors at Flowers Hospital and is currently in the College of Counselors of MASA and is also on the Board of Censors for HCMS.
